Privacy Policy

MPS Expense Tracker (package com.mps.expensetracker) is an internal expense-tracking app for the staff of a poultry business. It is developed and operated by ObsCode. It is not offered to the general public: accounts exist only for people an administrator has invited.

Account details: your email address and, optionally, your display name and profile picture (when you sign in with Google).

Expense records you enter: amount, expense type, date, an optional note, and any receipt photo you choose to attach.

Camera: used only when you tap Photo to capture a receipt. Choosing an existing picture uses the Android Photo Picker, which gives the app access to that one picture only.

We do not collect location, contacts, advertising identifiers or analytics, and the app shows no ads.

Your records are stored so that you, and any colleague you explicitly share an expense with, can view them. A colleague you share with can see the expense but cannot change it.

Administrators can see who has an account, invite or disable staff, and manage expense types. They cannot see your expenses unless you share them.

Data is stored with Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL database and file storage), which processes it on our behalf. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Receipt images are kept in a private bucket and are shown through short-lived links generated only for people allowed to see that expense. Database row-level security enforces who can read or change each record.

We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for advertising. Data is shared only with the colleagues you choose inside the app, and with Supabase as our hosting provider.

Records stay until you delete them. You can delete your own data at any time without deleting your account:

Delete an expense:open the expense, tap Delete, then tap "Yes, delete". The expense (amount, type, date, note), its receipt photo and any shares of it with colleagues are removed straight away.

Remove only a receipt photo: open the expense, tap Edit, remove the photo and save. The photo is deleted; the rest of the expense is kept.

Your account details (email, display name) are kept until you delete your account as described below.

To delete your account and all of its data, email hello@obsidiancode.io from the email address you use in the app, with the subject "Delete my MPS Expense Tracker account". We delete the account, your profile, your expenses and their receipt photos within 30 days and confirm by email.

The app is intended for adult staff and is not directed at children.
